She Wants It All.

She anxiously waits at the front of Starbucks. She couldn't sit still. She's not used to waiting for people. One of those girl who's not used to sitting at home. If she's not making plans, she's trying to remember what needs to get done.

She's a "do-er" and refers to herself as one. And yet, as she sits there in silence, she's antsy. Her straight brown hair swooping across her face, she has no idea how beautiful she is and that she doesn't need to prove anything else.

Instead of insecurely stating her feelings and questioning them all, what if she embraced the fact that she is creative and may think about things differently?

What if she remembered that her uniqueness is what people need? Her hospitality and kindness is exactly what needs to get spread. Her understanding and love can be enough of a guidance through life. What if she understood how much of a mentor she could be and embraced it?

She's not used to being on time places because she hates waiting. She packs so much in a day so that she always has something to do, a goal to look toward, another thing to plan, yet wears herself out in the process.

She can't sleep because her creative juices usually start to flow when she's lying in bed reflecting on the day. That's where she gets her best ideas. Where her best writing comes out.

She knows this but holds herself back. No one knows what her next move is because she's so unpredictable. She'll try anything once. And loves trying new things.

She's forgetful and feels that she'll forget everything, even though she has an impeccable memory for the most recent emotional events. She holds onto things, even when she tries to let them go, because she thinks that if she doesn't hold onto them, she'll completely forget them.

She loves people and feels that she's meeting the right people at the right time. When she expresses this to me, I see how happy she is. She wants everything, and yet, she is realizing how much she doesn't need everything.

She's enjoying all that comes her way because the experience is there. The love, the joy, the peace, the anger, the laughter, she's feeling it all and not caring if anyone knows it. Her enthusiasm emerges in a new setting where she makes new friends and loves on her old ones. She's loyal, kind, full of excitement and can't sit still.

As soon as she finally does, she's ready to move on with her day. The Starbucks coffee wakes her up to the fact that she's alive. That she's someone who's worth it.

She takes her last sip of her Iced Coffee, chucks it in the garbage, gives me a hug and then walks away. Her hair reflects off the sunlight as she struts into the setting sun, starting her day with a mission.
